We made it! July 9th is here, and World War Tez (beta) is live on mainnet! World War Tez is an RPG-style dApp, where you grow the strength of your gladiators and fight against other players to conquer territories. To get started, just connect your wallet, choose a nickname, create a gladiator, and start training!
World War Tez data is 100% decentralized, we do not use any database and all items, stats, and battle logic are built into the smart contract itself.

Notes on the game and $GUTS tokenomics
- You can only own ONE avatar at a time, and only one of each avatar will EVER exist. The first edition/season set includes 20 avatars that scale down in price, and future seasons will be cheaper initially. After the initial sale, players can trade avatars with each other. 50 XTZ from each sale will automatically be sent from within the same operation to the $GUTS liquidity pool on Quipuswap, which is distributed automatically to $GUTS liquidity providers as rewards.
- Likewise, you can only own ONE piece of equipment at a time. Use this to focus on your favorite country or location, as each item grants power bonuses to a specific place. 100% of XTZ from these purchases will automatically be sent from within the same operation to the $GUTS liquidity pool on Quipuswap, which is distributed automatically to $GUTS liquidity providers as rewards.
- A player’s balance of $GUTS liquidity pool tokens will add bonuses towards their character’s strength. The more liquidity pool tokens you hold, the more powerful you will become! For those who don’t know, any time you add liquidity to a DEX pool, you are actually holding liquidity pool tokens in the background.
- You can train to increase your strength once per minute. The more active you are, the stronger you will become! You also get stronger with every win.
It’s Only Beta!
This beta release is just the first stage of the World War Tez launch. Over time, we will continue to update the application to add features, make it more pleasing to the eye, and to make it animated in true ‘video game’ fashion. The initial release is more an interactive RPG-style dApp, while we will work towards releasing a more immersive play style.
Next steps:
- Continue to add more countries, avatars, and items. Don’t expect to see only modern realistic countries and items forever!
- Improve design, add animations, and more interactive elements.
- Add a leaderboard, ability to gauge how strong opponents are, and other features to improve user experience
- Evaluate the current bonus rates and frequency of training as people play, and adjust if necessary.

Token Burn Update

This brings the new max supply to 700,000, with only around 100,000 of that currently circulating. We are evaluating future distributions via airdrops for in-game activity, farms/staking, and more, as well as future burns and possible token sales via an IDO.
